the fish is about the size of a neon tera and it is bright pink it has shinny stripes that is kinda orange but you can bearly see them going down its body.

Some zebra danio's have hues such as you describe. The shape of the fish would be of help in giving you an answer.
I don't know what type of fish that is, but I have to get my rant out.
Why would you purchase a fish without knowing what it is? You have no idea what requirements it has. It could be brackish and you would put it in just plain water wouldn't you? It could be agressive and you would be none the wiser.
Tsk tsk tsk. Do research next time.
I share the same sentiment as Zoer. You shouldn't get a fish or any animal for that matter if you don't know how to care for it- let alone what it is.

will reach over 8-10 inches, one of the larger gouramies.
