Stop feeding your fish for two days in advance. Shut down the tank (lights, pump, filter) and wrap the tank up carefully in saran wrap, and again in a garbage bag. The fish will be fine for oxygen, but turning off your filter is going to be the hardest for them. If you cut out the feeding in advance, the fish waste will also decrease, making you filter unnecessary for the few days. Your fish will be fine without the food. This is what a fish farm does to ready the fish for transport. I live in Canada and many of the fish I buy come form farms in Florida

u can turn off the filter and cover the tank and for food since ull be gone u can put in one of those vacation blocks of food and they should be alright.
cover the tank with saran wrap and put the lid back on. also cover the filters with saran wrap. make sure to put the saran under the lids so it will hold the wrap down.
there's food you can get that feeds fish that lasts awhile so you won't have to be there to feed them. you can ask your pet store provider what would be best for your fish. tiger barbs are aggressive so make sure you put enough so they don't attack each other.

i realized i had a problem in my new apt. about a month after i moved in i had to do a flea bomb. lol. i have a 55 gal. tank. and two ten gallons. this is what i did and it worked fine. make sure you don't turn on the tank lights though. it could melt the wrap.
good luck.
put a weekend feeder in the tank, remove the filter, and air pump, put plastic over the tank and tape it down tightly. they should survive. However, the best thing to do is remove most of the water, and take the fish tank with you
