I have 2 fancy tailed guppies and was wondering how to breed them and then tell when the female is pregnant?

Answers:
First you need to be sure you have both male and female guppies. The males are usually more colorful than the females. Guppies are like rabbits and will usually breed on there own without any coaxing them at all. Typically you want a few females for each male as the males will pester the heck out of just one female!
You can tell which is male or female by the fin under the stomach. On the male it is pencil shaped pointing toward the tail, on the female fan shaped. Males generally have more color and bigger tails, and females will get larger. Here is some pictures of the males. http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/fishind.

Once the female is pregnant you will see a darker area on the belly -the gravid spot, and it will get bigger over time. The babies are born live, but unfortunately the parents (and any other fish in the tank) will eat them if they can. There are several ways to protect the babies - 1) lots of floating plants where they can hide, 2) a livebearer trap/breeder enclosure that hangs on the inside of the tank - you put the mother in there and after she has them move her back to the tank 3) put her into a separate tank with floating plants then remove her afterwards.

The female can have several batches of babies even if she is only with the male for a short while. Most females at pet stores are already pregnant, so if you are tyring to breed to a certain male to get certain colors, you may not get what you think.
Breeding guppy is not a daunting task, you need to identify whether you are holding a pair of guppy,

Its simple to identify a male a guppy - it will be colorful and slim body whereas female will be bulky and the front portion of the body will be colorless.

I am providing a link to identify male and female guppy respectively:
