I had 13 fish.But now i have only 3 fish left..Why r they dying?

I dont know why they die..
Answers:
one mistake people make when they get fish is that they (some, maybe not you) do not read enough about them. You really have got to read extensively. It is much more complicated then it looks. Read everything about you fish and get your tank as perfect as possible, it is well worth it.
-ps----if it is a new tank then you have to wait a month or two before you put any expensive fish in, put one ore two less expensive fish in to get the ecosystm going ( you can speed this up by buying biological boosters in petstores)
Good Luck! :)
fish tank too small
not enought food
killing each other,
didnt clean your tank
wrong type of water
fishys are sick
wrong food,
maybe u should check wat kind of fish are they cuz sometimes they are diffrent fishes that cant be with other that maybe the problem
It might be that you need to put an anti-chlorine treatment in the water. Its cheap, just a few drops neutralize the chlorine thats added to water to kill germs. Unfortunately it also kills fish. Anyway, good luck!
depends. they could have been old when you got them
if you dont have a filter or a heater that keeps it a good temperature the fish might not be able to stand it and pass away :((((((
first it depends on what fish you have. they could be very agressive or they could have a disease named after them like neons. you could also have a bacterial infection in the tank. if they act normally and havent lost or gained any color then they may just be aggressive and killed each other.
It probably is the water. I've been through about 2 dozen goldfish before finding out that temperature and ph lvls of water affect the fish.
And if all the above does not work.. Are you Diabetic? the insulin in your system will kill the fish if you touch the water (or inside of tank).
because they dont have enough oxygen in the tank or its too dirty and the fish become sick in their own waste
dirty tank to much food not enough food to many fish
It largely depends on the fish type. Don't worry, if it's goldfish it's common to make mistakes, I know I made a lot when I inherited my first Goldie in a bowl.
If they are gold fish then maybe:
You Wash tank with soap
Have no filtration.
No aeration
temp not right
ammonia build up
pH level wrong
I think the culprit, if goldfish, might be two many fish in a small enclosure. Goldfish, and every goldfish book and expert says this, need 10 gallons per fish. I have huge Fancy's so they have 20 gallons per fish.
You didn't give much info. Could be anything.

Tank not cycled-ammonia %26 nitrite levels too high
Tank size/too many fish
Water changes not done regularly(more than once a month)
Not treating new water
Disease

Search the following links for cycling a fish tank and caring for fish/fish tank

How long had the 13 been in there? How big is the tank? What kind of biological and mechanical filter do you have on the tank? How often do you do water changes? Was the tank fully cycled?

Too many questions to really answer your question.
YOU MUST CLEAN THE TANK ONCE 4 MONTH [ OTHER WISE THE pH OF WATER MAY INCREASE] , IF U HAVE FISH LIKE MALAVI, FLAWERHORN, IT ISN'T A SURPRISE , YOU MUST AERATE THE TANK, AS YOUR COUNTRY YOU MUST USE A HEATER , AND DON'T BE UPSET THAT'S NATURAL FOR ALL THE FISH OWNERS , AS THE TIME PASSES YOU WILL GAIN YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FISH. KEEP IT UP.
you'll have to give us more info than this if you want us to help you
You probably added all the fish without giving your tank enough time to adjust to the bio-load. Tanks have beneficial bacteria in them that convert fish waste (ammonia) into nitrites, and then into harmless nitrates. You should have added the fish two at a time, and 5 days apart to give you tank time to adjust. Over feeding will also cause a rise in the toxins, slowly killing the fish. You should also be changing 25% of the water once a week with tap water that has been aged 24 hours and warmed to the temp of the tank so you don't stress the fish or bacteria. Since you have a problem with the tank right now, change 50% of the water right away, and 25% in three days, after that, continue with your regular water changin schedule. Take a fresh sample of your tank water to the store for testing each time you buy fish and they can tell you if it is safe to add more fish, or if your tank hasn't adjusted yet (at which point, you do another water change).
