I work in an aquatics store %26 this is a very common question. There are chemicals you can add to your tank that will help you get rid of aquatic snails. However, they often will kill your plants, too %26 harm any other invertabrates that you may have in your tank.

My recommendation? Get a couple of clown loaches. They get along with most fish, are very commical %26 entertaining (thus their name) %26 are a natural solution to your infestation. Their favorite snacks are aquatic snails %26 they will help keep your tank clean.

Good luck!
PUT SOME SNAIL PELLETS ON IT,TRY GET AS MANY SNAILS YA CAN OFF,OTHER WISE PUT A BOWEL OF WATER NEAR IT AS THE SNAILS WILL WANT A DRINK AND DROWN IN IT
is it an aquariom plant? you can buy snail traps that tempt the snail into the box and trap them - theyre not harmed and can then be safely released. snails can help keep tanks clean but they can sometimes damage plants too
i once had a fish tank with 1000 snails. they ate all my plants. i constantly removed them every day. the only i to get rid of them all was to clean entire fish tank, new gravel, new plants, new water. it worked. snail free.
Oh no. my worst nightmare. Snails are not bad. Snails that shop up on a plant though, aren't good either. What kind of tank? Tropical or Coldwater (goldfish)? Ask a pet store if they have any fish they have noticed that has a taste for escargot. lol. For either type of tank, get a loach (botia) or two. They love snail, and it will help the problem. Beware, snails are asexual and each snail has both male and female organs. While they will not fertilize themselves. Two snails will soon result in two million. So an infestation for a plant will result in too many very quickly. If all else fails, do it the annoying way. Strip the tank. Throw out all the plants and gravel. Soak all decor in the hottest water your tap will spit out, and scrub the insides of the tank. Its a terrible annoyance but snails will build up quick, and you dont want to have to scrape snail guts from the internals of your filter, so be proactive. Scoop them all out into a trash bag, as soon as you can. Or to be humane, scoop them all out into a bucket, and toss them into a local pond or run off area you know has a billion snails of its own already. Be careful not to add a species not native to your area though.
You can do a dip or quarantine the plant before putting it into your main tank.
