Wash with soap and water then put Bactine on it not neosporin! Neosporin will hold germs in and may cause more damage. wrap with a bandage let air when you can put mor bactine on it when it dry's. You can also try a dab of tea tree oitment this is a natural antibactrial made from bark. Happy healing!

Put Neosporin on it. Catfish fins have no venom, so your toe is just infected. Keep it washed and clean and use Neosporin. It has always worked for me.

Catfish have a small venom sac in their pectoral fins. If you really hurt, then you might be senstive to the venom. I am pretty sensitive to the venom--it causes the finned area on me to throb and swell. Benedryl helps me, but it may not work for you.
