I have four mystery snails, just found egg clutch in the top of the tank hood.?

the clutch seemed to be very dried out but very intact it has been a week since i have the hood off was doing water change, question is how long does it take for the snails to hatch and how often do they lay eggs because they was doing the humpty last night, and kinda want to be ready for the next clutch before hand so i can seperate babies at hatching. thank you in advance

hey nirro, congrats on the snail nookie going down in the tank!!
mystery snails ROCK and they take great digi pics!

check the clutch daily, when you see they have darkened you know it's with in hours or a day of hatching.
I always took a razor blade and a tupperware container (rubbermaid works of course) with some floss (batting or cotton balls) moistened but NOT soaking as the clutch will drowned if soaked in water. then I'd let nature take its course and they'd hatch themselves I'd then submerg in a ten gallon thats been cycled well.

keep in mind that snails are sensitive to salts and most of your dechlorinators have some sort of salt in them. It's best when doing water changes on any snail tank to use bottled water or let the new water sit out for a few hours so chlorine etc gasses can disapate.
CHEERS!
those things reproduce so fast.i thought it was cool at first..but then they overran my tank.they climb out of the water to lay their eggs(obviously if you found it in the hood.) and the eggs are usually dry.they get dark when they r about to hatch. i had to check all the time for new eggs.they never stopped!!
