i have a kind of white warms in the glass of my aquarium,?
i have a kind of parasit in my aquarium, they are in the glass of it, are really tiny white things, looks like when you clean a glass with paper, thet little white particuls that stay in the glass, and if you look realy carefull they move , my last fish die last night , and one day before i cleaned the aquarium, what should i do? please i want to buy more fish but i need to fix this problem , do i have to change the whole tank of water or just buy some medicine, somebody told me is ich or something like that, is this possible? sorry for the spelling
Answers:
These little white 'worms' are actually planarian FLATWORMS. They are a result of overfeeding and they multiply like crazy with unbalanced nitrate levels. They are NOT harmful to your fish---the death of 2 of your fish are probably the result of the nitrate levels not the worms' presence.

Unless you see the worms swarming on the fish themselves, you can ignore them---not overfeeding should kill them off via starvation, or you can do a partial water change and start adding NON IODINE salt to your water to kill them (and prevent future outbreaks). 1/2 tsp. per gallon is sufficient.

Here are some more tips to help you get rid of them:

NOTE: These worms are NOT ICH. ICH (or ICH) are visible on the fish only and look like tiny white dots (like someone sprinkled salt on your fish). ICH can be deadly. Flatworms are harmless.
your right it is a parasite, its called ick. it once killed 15 of my fish in one night (its a nasty little bug). but you get it in the tank when you add tap water to the tank you need to add distilled water only. the only way to get rid of it now is to tell a vet and they will give you this little bottle of dark blue liquid that you need to add every night
Ick is generally only seen on the fish itself. Ick is a small white dot that you can spot fairly easy on fish. You may have a different type of parasite then ick. You can go to www.reefcentral.com for saltwater or http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/in. . If your last fish is gone I would probably start over with the tank. Having to cycle a tank again is a bummer but it may be worth it to know that you will not have any parasites for future fish. And you might want to try a quarantine tank for new fish. so that you know the new fish you are adding to the main tank are disease free.

Good Luck.
I totally agree with the guy above. ick is little white spots on the fish..
Straydog is right on with his analysis. I concur.
