I have a tank full of snails, I don't want to kill them, but what can I do with them?

Answers:
Escargot?
sell them to an aquarium or pet store..
Sell them to loacal pet shops that way you make some moeny to :)
Eat them
see if a pet store will take them or allow you to post a free snails sign in the store.
release them into your back yard.
Just let them outside, like in a park or a wooded area.
cook them and eat them apparently you have to give them only water for two days then feed them carrot until they poo orange then you know there is nothing nasty inside them. Then cook with lots of garlic butter. I know its still killing them but for a good cause
Are they sea snails - set them free at the beach. Land snails - bring them to a damp forest and set them free
Bottom line: If you don't want to kill them you will have to learn to live with them.

That being said, if you want to control the snail population you have a couple of choices.

1) use a water additive designed for snail control. You can get these at your local pet shop. They are fairly effective.

2) Introduce a snail predator to your tank. I had a crab that did a pretty job of keeping the snail population in check.
Tank full of snails eh? must be getting good mileage.. try snail racing, like they did in that movie, cant remember the name.
flush down the toilet.
Let 'em free!
Turn them loose in a nearby pond or lake.
Scoop them out and bring them to the local pet shop where you purchased the original one from. In most cases they will take them and issue you a store credit for their new additions. Sometimes they do no ask or offer you a credit I would ask as they are not going to give these away they will sell them. So it is really OK to ask for store credit so that you can purchase other things from the establishment.
Give them to a neighbor that has a pond. They're great for keeping a good balance in your pond.
Who cares, As long as their no snakes involved
snails are pests. they eat and destroy healthy plants.

do NOT release them into any place you care about.

they will most likely be eaten by birds no matter what you do, so dont feel too bad.
i thanking you 1st for your kindness, you can do anything because your intention are really admirable,

thank god girl with kind heart,

bye sweet heart u will really get blesses from almighty or Creator,
Put a piece of lettuce in there, they'll hang out on it and eat it and just pluck it out and put it in a pond or something nearby. Pet stores won't take them, they try to get rid of them also. They will very quickly take over your fish tank.
Absolutely do NOT release them! You can usually get some credit if you sell them to a local fish shop, though they are really easy to breed, so you either may not get much, or they may not need them, but at least it's worth a shot, you aren't ruining the environment or killing them. Keep only one snail at a time. They breed really easily and two quickly turns into too many. Also, clean out the tank really well when you take them out. They are good at hiding and then multiplying again when you thought you only had one or none.
Well - if you do not want them, an do not want to kill them - I'd see if I could seel them to my LFS.
Set them free in the garden.
slap some mayo on them and enjoy yourself
Hey bloody, it was "Never Ending Story." (snail racing)

Get used to having them or learn to kill them. Scrunch them against the glass and the fish will eat them. Don't do too many at a time or it will foul the water.

Some cichlids eat them. Some loaches (clown, skunk, yoyo) eat them also.
dont eat them 1: im guessing there not ver big 2: thats killing them and 3there could be something wrong with them just offer them to some one maybe make an ad in the newspaper making driving distance though
give them to a locole pet store they will be more than happy to take them.
