i have a kind of worms in my aquarium, please help me?

i have a 20 galons aquarium, and today i realize that is some kind or black worms in the bottom, they are realy small, i have a filter underground and one of the intake kind, what is happening, is this normal, i have almost a month with the tank , is realy new
Answers:
they could even be tiny leeches
go to your petshop and get tank treatment for parasites
that should take care of all of them
dou you have fish and if you do, its poop
Sounds to me its more like fish poop, not worms. And yes you need to clean (vacuum, suck the poop out when you clean the tank) and you are right about the water, only remove/replace about 1/2 of it.
They are probably tubiflex or blood worms that have been eating the fish food that makes it to the bottom.. They will not harm the fish (if they would they would be attached or inside the fish). It does mean that you are over feeding your tank. Do a 50% water change with a gravel vacuum and stop feeding the fish for a few days (they will eat the rest of the worms). In future, feed half of what you are now feeding.
A
poo
It's possible that some kind of worm is in there I suppose. Most fish who eat feeders wind up with worms in their tanks at some point, but usually they are small and white and usually only come out at night.
